Plummet
Definitely not inspired by a childhood board game or a certain poker roguelite.
You and an AI opponent share a single board. You drop your color, they drop theirs. Get four in a row: horizontal, vertical, diagonal. Gravity pulls everything down. New lines form. More stuff clears. Most points when you run out of turns wins.
Build Broken Combos
Win a match and the shop opens. Spend your chips attaching modifiers to the pieces in your bag. Watch them interact in ways you did not plan for. The combos get silly fast. That's the point.
Every Enemy Changes the Rules
Each opponent modifies something about the shared board. And it gets weirder every act.
- The Blocker — freezes the column you just played.
- The Gravedigger — cleared pieces don't disappear. They sink to the bottom as permanent rubble.
- The Architect — only scores clears of 5+. Plays slow.
- The Mirror — copies the modifier on your last piece onto theirs.
- The Taxman - Each play costs.
Three acts. A boss at the end of each. It keeps getting stranger.
Score Big
- 4-in-a-row → 100 pts
- 5-in-a-row → 250 pts
- Each cascade level → ×2 multiplier
- Engineer a cross-color chain (your clear → their pieces fall and clear → your pieces fall and clear again) → +150 bonus
Controls
Click a column to drop your piece. Mouse to navigate the shop. That's it.
Made in Godot. Run lasts 10–20 minutes. Jam build — be warned
